Lindsey Gatenby realised a life long passion for baking when she founded Mrs Gatenby’s Bakery in 2008. Learning her baking skills in her mother’s kitchen as soon as she was tall enough to see over the kitchen counter, nothing could stop the speed at which cakes flew in and out of the oven. When she became a grown-up Lindsey embarked on a two year sugarcraft course and during those years her flair for sugarcraft blossomed. It was then only natural that Mrs Gatenby’s Bakery then be established.
Working from home in her country cottage kitchen, which has become fondly known as the Bakery, Lindsey now thrives on designing and creating inspiring and eye-catching cakes for all occasions.
